Ladoga Jan 26 -- Mrs. Marcia GARRETSON, one of the beloved elderly women of this community died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ella McKinsie at 10 Tuesday night of the prevailing scourage of lagrippe, complicated with pneumonia. Mrs. Garretson suffered a paralytic stroke just before Thanksgiving. The deceased was born in New Plymouth, Ohio Oct 6, 1836 her maiden name Sanderson. She married Rev. EK Garretson and to them 3 children were born, Mrs. McKinsie ; William Garretson of Covington and James of Fruitdale, Ala. Since the death of her husband many years ago, she has made her home with her daughter. Mrs. Garretson was a member of the Methodist Church from girlhood. she lived fully in its faith and teaching and was truly an attentive servant in the Master's work. The funeral service will be held at the Methodist Church, Friday afternoon 2:30 Rev. Sam Smith, asisted by Rev. Weidmann in charge. Burial in the local cemetery. kbz
